This 57 year old man had surgery of his right shoulder 9 years ago. A suture of the supraspinatus and a repair of a SLAP-lesion was performed in the same procedure. He has been doing ok since then. He works as a carpenter even though he has a shoulder prosthesis on his left shoulder.
This past year onset of pain from the right shoulder with no prior trauma. X-Ray shows osteoarthritis of the GH joint. He was sent to me from the Orthopedic Surgeon who performed the surgery requesting:
”Evaluation of the rotator cuff. If no retear of the rotator cuff, intraarticular corticosteroid injection.”
