54 year old woman sent to me from the GP with the question of rotator cuff tear?
Trauma 3 weeks ago but no X-ray had been done….?
Ultrasound shows an intact rotator cuff but an undislocated fracture of the greater tubercle… I sent her to confirm it on X-ray..
Will be followed by physio. Avoid active abduction and external rotation for another 3 weeks.
